Custom Badges For Our Trucks.

Has anybody made any custom badges for our trucks? If so where did you put them?

If anybody hasn't done this, have you thought of a design that you would like done? Would you share?

If you have had custom badges done, where or who did them for you?

I am not a big fan of the badges that come on any of the 60-66 trucks. i have been wanting to set down and work this one out for a while. I was discussing it with a few guys at work today so I thought I better do it before I forget again. Here it is :

I will try to get this done in some sort of metal. If I am unable to do it, I am going to then try to get someone to airbrush it on. I have seen airbrushing on Overhaulin' before that came out looking just like a 3D chrome badge.

So, anybody else? Wanna share?

Vinyl may be a cheap option to see if you are gonna like it before you drop some coin on a mold.

I like that.....might not be too bad to have that CNC machined out of aluminum.

Re: Custom Badges For Our Trucks.

check out seller: fnfabreplica on eBay. He does really nice CNC (computer) plasma cut signs for cheap. He could probably make you some up in Stainless. I've bought from him before and he has real quality stuff. He does custom stuff.

Try billetbadges.com He did the badges on my blacked out '04 crew cab. Tastfully done in my opinion. Not too flashy and they look stock.Name: Badges 004.jpg

I fell the same way about emblems, but I have always wanted to do this one. Thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate it. Feel free to use it if you'd like.

Thanks CSoliz, I wish I knew someone with a CNC to do it out of polished aluminum.

Me too. I was thinking of doing another for the other side. Keeping the C10 nearest the door on both sides of the truck.

Re: Custom Badges For Our Trucks.

I have a guy trying to set me up with a set of C5/bLazer badges,

He has my artwork at the moment. Looking to do a sand cast possibly. I want a set for my 2wd Blazer project 50th and I have several others asking for them as well.

Re: Custom Badges For Our Trucks.

I won't have chance to get to it until Monday. I had almost given up on the guy, it has been a long time since he started this for me, but I know he is busy. This thread makes me want them all the more!

I'll post as soon as I can get it back.
