New member, old truck....
Hi Guys,
Just bought a 65 GMC this past weekend. Its a real turd, but I plan on getting the 305 v6 running, new brake, just get all of the mechanicals right, convert from a long bed to a short bed and drive. Heres a pic...shes a beaut!!! Thanks! |

Thanks for the positive comments guys.
Just thought I would show you mu other ride. tis been a work in progress since I bought it. Full air ride, new engine and trans, 4 link , rear end. Its all but finished. It could use paint, but I like it the way it is and wanted to get started on a mid 60's truck for some time... I've been along time Jalopy Journal member and saw on a couple of truck threads over there that this was the place for the good info on the old GM trucks! I am overwelmed by the size of the site. You guys have done well here, lots of info. Thanks again, |

Nice rides, I have a 305 v6. They are good motors. You will be happy. Not with mpg, but reliability.
