4 American Racing 8 lug wheels

These are 16.5" American Racing Vector 8 lug wheels. They are in pretty good shape. A little polishing, and they could look like new. I've had these wheels in a 5 lug before, and painted the centers black. They really looked good that way. The price is really for the wheels only, the tires are free. They aren't good, but hold air.
$250.00 for the set

The tires are junk. I would have to pay to have them taken off. The price I posted is without the tires. Where do you live in California? I rather not ship them.

What's their diameter? I assume 16.5, but just want to be sure.

Thanks,

Then cash when I deliver them. Let me know if this works out for you. You can PM me and I give you my Cell number.

I would but it's almost 300 miles round trip for me. How about meet half way for $225.00 That will at least help with my gas. I was thinking of Mojave. Does that work for you? That's 84 miles one way for me, and 60 miles for you.

Re: 4 American Racing 8 lug wheels

I had 2 scams just like this from Craigs list. Next thing he'll say is "my secretary sent you $1,000.00 by mistake. Send me back the remainder and keep $100.00 for your trouble." Hess320 If your real send me a $200.00 bank check. When it clears, then I contact you about the shipping.

Re: 4 American Racing 8 lug wheels

Sorry if I missed judged you. It's just too much scamming going on. If your sincere, you can send me a money order? And how will you orange to get them shipped to you. I never did it the way you said. I will PM you with my home address (not a PO Box) and phone number. We could talk before you send the check. I'm not a scammer either. I'm a very honest person. I will have to have the tires taken off, unless you want them. It will cost more to ship though. I don't think it would be worth it. The tires aren't good. I just bought some headlight buckets from Chevysdominate's thread "PARTING OUT MY 61". I paid him promply through Pay Pal.
So PM me if your serious.
Thanks, Dennis

Re: 4 American Racing 8 lug wheels

see dude it wasnt anythign personal..
it is just the way you word everything and the fact that your FIRST posting ever.. was a monetary offer..
just odd (to me) because the craigslist scammers use alot of the same lingo and offer to provide shipping without ever knowing the weight of said item...
cant offer shipping if you dont know how big the package is...

Re: 4 American Racing 8 lug wheels

hey strodder..
iffn you dont get rid of these soon i'll try to get them off of you in the near future (when work is worth a crap again)
i could desperatley use a set of tires just for getting the truck into a garage.. and 16.5's would be very nice for humvee surplus tires...
that way i wouldnt be so dang scared of picking up trash in my procomps =-)

Those 16.5 tires are easy to remove. Since there is no safety bead they come off fairly easy once you break them loose from the wheel.

I was thinking of bringing them in to have the bead broken if I can't, then I'll take them off my self.
Hess320 hasn't call me yet. I don't know what's happening. Hess are you there???

Let the air out of em drive up on them to break the bead loose. Those are cool wheels, if I had a use for them I'd buy them. I'm just down the hill in Rancho.
