wtb 2.56 ring and pinion and carrier
anyone have a good used 2.56 ratio ring and pinion and the open carrier for a 12 bolt rear ?

"homemade overdrive" on the cheap. it's what gm did in the 70s before the overdrive transmissions were mass produced. i had a 79 firebird with that ratio and a super t10 4 speed with a 3.42 first gear. great take off and low cruising rpms.

I remember seeing a set of 2.56 gears and a carrier on the shelf, when I looked last week. I also have 2.73's (different carrier) and a set of 2.76's. I normally sell a ring and pinion for $50 and an open carrier for $50. Make me an offer. Thanks.
