Another newbie
Been lurking around the site for some time now. We just got some snow here in maryland, so after scrubbing layers of salt off I snapped some pictures. It's an '87 shortbed with a 350 (p.o. converted back to carb) and a 700r4. I've been wanting to get rid of the tool box and bed rails and drop the front 2" but my wife complains I spend more time with the truck than her.

Welcome from NJ as well. I've heard the "You spend more time on the truck then you do with me" many times before. I know I will hear it many times again too.

Welcome from Tennessee. I agree with drive it as it sits, but none of us will ever be happy with that.
Do you have just shackles in the rear?

Re: Another newbie
Nice ride. There is a driveway in upstate that needs another truck when you get tired of it, LOL. I don't have to worry about the "you spend more time\money crap". I got rid of the cause of that problem andd kept the truck. Now all I have to do is get rid of the gov't so I can keep my money and my guns. Didn't take 'em long to come up with a new gun law. E-mail me for more details and then let your rep know where you stand and how good a shot you are.

God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose. |

Re: Another newbie
Nice looking ride Dapper Dan. It doesn't cost anything to get rid of the box and rails. Put them up for sale and get the springs. Problem solved. Then you both will be happy...well maybe for a short time. jk lol
