got air?
i am going to be installing an air ride setup on my 67 that im buliding from the ground up and was wondering if there is any way to fill the bags without the compressor hooked up by using some kind of shutoff valve or something so i can roll the chassis on and off a trailer does anyone know if this is possible? thanks

Re: got air?
You can install schrader valves on each bag. Or one schrader valve with a T junction for two bags.
And let me be the first to say welcome to the forum.....!!! Last edited by six5; 03-15-2009 at 08:02 PM. |

Re: got air?
i used a ball valve for the front two and another ball valve for the rear two ... put a quick connect on it ... hook up my compressor line ... open valve to inflate bags ... close valve and unhook compressor line ... fast too

Re: got air?
sorry, but no pics ... it's fairly simple, just run your lines to form a "T" and connect a ball valve to it on one side with a quick disconnect on the opposite side of the valve ... do this for both the front and the rear so you have control over each end ...
THIS IS FOR MOVING THE VEHICLE AROUND THE SHOP ONLY ! DO NOT USE THIS SET-UP FOR ON-ROAD USE AS THE BALL VALVES WILL AND DO LEAK DOWN. |
