gettin the bugs worked out now
finally getting some of the bugs worked out of this truck....got it a few weeks back, and just havent had much time to tinker with it....took it to a local "chevy guru" here in town to do it for me
it sat for years, and i mean years in my buddies heated garage....so my "guru" ended up putting on for me, new rear drums, rear wheel cylinders, front rotors, brakes and a calipers, and a new modulator on the trans also, the carb was crap, so in had to get a new one, so i got an edelbrock electric choke 600cfm (good all around carb), then i had to get exhaust, so i got hedman elite ceramic coated ones, and had the muff shop put on 2 1/2" exhaust with some flowmaster 40's here it is on its maiden voyage through town, its amazing how this truck feels just like a new one...all the body rubbers are soft, theres no cracks or funny noises at all (makes me remember why i like these trucks so much) next plans are to change the rear bumper, the oil, trans fluid/filter, then lower it, body molding, wheels/tires

Re: gettin the bugs worked out now
Good work. I still love the way that truck looks. Other than the height and big tires.
