booster and mc choice
im finishing up on a disc brake conv. on my 70 using 72 spindles and was wondering what year mc and booster i should get.thanks

I purchases a new M/C and porportioning valve from POL. (PerformanceOnLine).

Back when i did my truck in 97,i think it was a booster/master cyl combo i
bought from napa for a 87. i modified the mounting bracket and the pushrod.looks good,smaller booster and the new style m/c scott |

yes but does the year matter for the booster because i thought i read something to the effect about the push rod being different on a drum/drum and a disc/drum.thanks

what brackets do you have? If it's off the 72 then get the MC/Booster combo from autozone for a 72 C-10. I know the C-10 brackets are different than the C20/30 or the C-10/20 vs. C-20 etc..
I think you need a core to save some money though..

everything is 70 except the 72 spindles i put on.basically what i'm asking is can i use a 70 booster with a later style (aka 72) mc and will i have any pushrod length issues.thanks.

I converted my 69 C-10 to disk 6 years ago and used a 71 master and booster that I got 2nd hand along with the spindles and a arms. Everything bolted in with no pushrod problems. Hope this helps.
