How can I find out the options on my truck - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The option sticker on my glove box is mostly illegible. I was wondering if there is a way to find out what the options were on my truck from the factory by researching the VIN. Thanks to anyone who can help.

gm now charges 50.00 for restoration packet as of march 2009

My 72 had the build sheet taped to the drivers side floor pan. Has a lot of info like when/where it was built, which dealer it was sent to, all RPO codes, .........

I have never found the build sheet in any of my collector vehicles (except for my '65 GTO - that was pretty cool).
