Re: 14 bolt brakes
Does it not have anything on it? No drums or hardware at all?
Everything is available thru NAPA at a price, but it'll get nasty without cores.

Re: 14 bolt brakes
The Eaton rear for '72 only has '73- up brakes. If that is what you have & the parts are good, just transfer them. If you have a Dana 60, the parts don't swap.
I've never had to buy a brake drum for a 14 bolt. Just look for a 2wd truck in the junkyard that doesn't look like it was used hard - you should find good thick drums. You can score them for free by buying a pickup box trailer. Rob the brakes from it, then resell the trailer

Re: 14 bolt brakes
it was way cheaper to go with discs on my 85. Bought all the drum stuff then started pricing out the disc stuff, shortly after I returned all my parts back to napa.

Funny thing is the parts catalogs don't ask what rear end for a '72, but I'm pretty sure the Dana 60 drums are different- but then I have never wrenched on a '72 with a 60 rear. A quick way to ID a '71 or older Eaton is the drums are outboard, meaning you can remove them w/o pulling shafts & hubs.

Re: 14 bolt brakes
I see you added to your sig & a pic in another thread that you have a dually. Is that the truck you are working on? Different game on brake parts there.

Brackets from ruff stuff specialties and everything else for a 75 Dana 44 front axle from any parts store everything for under $200
