help with brakes
hello! i have noticed i have no brake booster my truck is a 1982 sierra which had a six cylinder in it that im converting to a v-8.i was trying to hook up vacum lines today and noticed i have no booster i'm running a holley 600 carb,does anyone have a diagram of the vacum hook up for this truck i have the donor truck which has a brake booster any help would be gladly appreciated

You need a brake booster hose and check valve, and the correct power master cylinder for disc or drum. Both can be borrowed from the power booster truck assuming it is the same as yours. The vacuum source will be either the carb base plate or the intake manifold, you must have a big line (like 1/4-3/8) and the source must come from mainfold vacuum (below the throttle plates). If the brake donor is the engine donor then it should have this port. You may want to use the donor's proportioning valve too. You may have to change lines a bit as you're relocating the mster cylinder.
