Ooops! Bought wrong bumper.
I bought a sport bumper from a guy off Craigslist. Got it home went to line it up to se how it looked and found out it is a stepside bumper. (Its a few inches narrow.) So, do I sell it, and find another one for my truck? Do I keep it and just tuck it in real close, or is it too narrow for that? The guy wont buy it back now.

Re: Ooops! Bought wrong bumper.
Sell or Trade it. Just like you're looking for sport bumper, someone out there is looking for a stepside bumper. It's all about finding the right person. |

Re: Ooops! Bought wrong bumper.
Could be a van bumper too. Are there carriage bolt holes on the top of it? If so, then it is a van bumper.

Re: Ooops! Bought wrong bumper.
I say try and sell it. I'm sure someone will come along and need that bumper. I've got parts in my garage too that I have swapped out, and just waiting for the right person to come along that I can help out.

Re: Ooops! Bought wrong bumper.
No, it only has the bolts on the face. I was really excited to slap the thing on so I could drive it with out Farmer Joe's bumper on the back. But, I guess for now I will will rock the big one,....
