i have a 67 c10 and i recently purchased 3' lowered coil springs. i have 2.5 drop spindles and stock shocks. i removed the old coil springs which were poorly cut by the previous owner. i put the new coil springs in and they still dont fit quite right. my stepfather says that the shocks shouldnt be an issue because there should be some pressure on the springs without the shocks and that they should fit. i bought the springs from brotherstrucks.com

also anyone know the stock front spring height

Three inch springs will fit loosly when the truck is jacked up with no weight on the suspension.

tx firefighter----ya there is about a little less than an inch of travel. im worried that if im driving down the road and i hit a bump that i will damage my truck. it just seems like that they are too loose.

They will be loose when the truck is in the air with no weight on the suspension. Dont sweat it. Put it together and post some pics.
