Looking to put an SuperCharged LQ4/4L80E in my 62'
Has anyone on the board put a GenIII LQ4 or LQ9 with a 4L80E in a 60-66 yet? looking for information regarding motor mounts, fitment etc.

Thanks Chief! My neighbor put this setup in his 71 cutless, he had it dyno'd and he is putting out 600+hp at the rear wheels. He used a hotter cam, a supercharger, built heads etc. I am contemplating this for mine.

Board member 'Olsofti" has a 5.3 in his truck, should be pretty much the same. And Super73 has an LS1 in his '63......he is very knowledgeable.
I know for the motormounts you need to either buy or make a bracket to move the mount location forward on the block. I have a drawing of them saved somewhere.....

Thanks Joe! I see ECE sells a kit, but it says for 63-72, but I am sure with some mod it will work, I will check out TimE's build thread.
