It's becoming a burden....
It's been three weeks since I drove the truck. Reason is I'm waiting for some wheel bearings and owning a Longhorn is almost becoming a burden. Why is it that I have such a difficult axle? Why didn't my truck came with a Dana 60 axle? It's deja-vu all over again. When I bought the truck it took 4 months before we got the right bearing, and that damn thing is now broken also. Perhaps it wasn't the right one. This week the bearing arrived, but without the oil seal It will take at least another week to get that over here...
I'm sorry for this, but I just had to get it off my chest... I know what you mean, and I live in the US!!!
Anyway, better check things very close, a repeat bearing failure is usually just a symptom of some other problem. ------------------ jku 70 C30 CST Longhorn 68k10 burb 69 K5 beater 43 willys GPW 40 Chev coupe 67 catalina
