Re: brake dragg
Hey, 84, had a problem similar to yours and found two problems that were easily addressed. First, the caliper wasn't tightened like it should have been and, Second, I had a bad wheel bearing. The root of the problem was most likely the loose caliper... or it could have been a combination of the two...I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but at least it solved the problem!

Re: brake dragg
My money is on the rubber brake lines/hoses. They get bubbles in them that
pinch off the flow, I see that problem all the time. |

Re: brake dragg
I have had this same problem, and when I asked a mechanic and he told me the brake line was wadded up inside I thought he was graspin, but I tried a new line and it fixed the problem.

Re: brake drag
The hoses would be the place to start. Crack the bleeders , like stated before, let them sit to gravity bleed the brakes. Close them off and check pedal travel , down and up. Look to see if the pedal returns to the top. The master cylinder square cut seal could be binding and not releasing the calipers fully.
