Tool Boxes
I am shopping for a cross over tool box for my ZR2. Tired of all the crap behind the seat. Where's a place with the best prices? Any brands to stay away from?

Re: Tool Boxes
I have a tool box made by Built-rite specifically made for S-10s. It is labled as Kobalt. I bought it at Lowes.

Re: Tool Boxes
Check out Craigslist. You might get lucky and find something there. I bought my Duralast box on my 68 on Craigslist. I really dont know of any brand to stay away from. I've had good luck with both of mine. They are both solidly constructed.
The one one my S-10 takes regular abuse from all of the tools I carry around. The only thing I didn't like about it was the price. I needed something quick though. I don't have any regrets. If you buy a used one, make sure that the lid struts work as they should. They tend to be pricey if you need to replace them. Also be sure to get the mounts that hold the box on the bed rails. I paid $238 for the Built-rite on my S-10 and $125 for the Duralast on my 68.

Re: Tool Boxes
Bought a Delta crossover (Black treadplate) from a local business. Will be here in about a week. Thought the black would go better with the Red and black already on the truck. Was thinking the brite aluminum would stand out too much.
