Re: low buck build project yellow fever
plans are for a 4inch lowering kit, new black interior,18 inch front 20 inch rear wheels. front and rear roll pans, phantom grill, 66 fuelie vette hood scoops. black top of cab and bed rails and a custom yellow pearl tri coat bottom. and a air brushed grapic at the break line of the paint that looks like a loging chain that wraps around the truck with a lock on the tailgate.

Re: low buck build project yellow fever
It's going to be a nice build plugs! You got a better price than the $ 500.00 I paid for the " Brown Hornet " build. I am currently running. That reminds me that I need to post some pics

Re: low buck build project yellow fever
Hey Plugs welcome to the boards. Looks like a nice truck, and here locally too! Make sure and check out the Oklahoma Section. Lot of guys from here around the OKC metro area. My uncle has a phantom grill that he's not using too if you would be interested. I'm looking forward to progress, and maybe I can run by and check it out.

Re: low buck build project yellow fever
here are a couple of pis of the cab corners removed. rear lowering kit got here from western chasis front spindles are on back order they say 2 weeks we will see. ordered a frame paint kit from kbs coatings. hope to have cab corners on and body work on cab done within 2 weeks then paint frame and install lowering kit. decided to move bed up closer to cab by 3/4 of an inch to tighten the space between the cab and bed.

Looks like your making nice progress! Keep it going! I've heard a lot of people like the Western Chassis stuff. Will be worth the wait.

Re: low buck build project yellow fever
Hey Plugs here is a link to f.monroe's truck. Here he is talking about what he has in lowering, and what the size, and offset to his wheels. Also look at N2Trux's threads about his truck. Here is a link to his too.

Re: low buck build project yellow fever
no problem with a 10" wheel you want at least 5" of bs, what kind of wheels you going with and if you use lowering hangers and shackles make sure you keep the stock hangers if decided to do a flip kit because with drop hangers and flip kit your pinon angle will be way off but a flip kit and drop shackles work just fine together
