Need a steering wheel

Man....there's more options for steering wheels than there is for mag wheels.....where do you start?

Anyone have one they are particularly proud of...certain model or size?

I'm thinking 14"....but that is as far as I've made it so far.

Re: Need a steering wheel

I've got a Grant on mine and I think it looks good and functions well. I've never had the black leather get too hot to touch after sitting in the sun with the top off either - the metal part can get hot!

Re: Need a steering wheel

I'm planning on using this one. I've seen at least one truck posted here that had it installed. It's a 15" wheel. I've got a 13 1/2" now that is just too small.

Small grant GT, it looks big here because of the camera view.

Re: Need a steering wheel

I like the wood ones. I had one on my first Blazer.

Re: Need a steering wheel

Thanks for the replies and especially the photos, those help a lot.

I've been to the Grant website but I can't picture what it looks like inside the blazer and those Grants are expensive ;-)

I'll check out that Ebay link too.

I'm thinking 14"....is that the most popular opinion?

Re: Need a steering wheel

14" is pretty much the size of all aftermarket. On the link I sent you those wheels have the half wrap leather that is interchangeable, which I love, and have the grooved finger notches feels very good and solid in your hands. IMO

Re: Need a steering wheel

The first one I posted is a grant 967 and is only about $100 - 110. It is a 15" wheel, which is more typical of the classic styles. All the newer cars are pretty much 14". The 13.5" one I'm using now just feels tiny.
