2 different ride heights possible with air bags?
If I had a CoolRide kit on the front and a AIRoverLeaf kit on the back of my '79 C-15 could I use two different ride heights (lower for summer and higher for winter) or is it really important to maintain the recommended 5" bag height at ride height?

Re: 2 different ride heights possible with air bags?
I'm sure someone else will chime in with true bag experience.... but what I have learned from reading on here is the recommended pressure is for best ride comfort. You can do less or more pressure to raise/lower the bags but you will sacrifice some ride quality by doing that buy probably not too much for an inch or two difference.

You could set up your 'winter' front ride height w/stock spindles & bags & align it there. Then when spring/summer rolls around, swap to some drop spindles for a quick 3" of additional drop. The alignment would ideally need to be re-done but it might be close enough w/o one that the tires wouldn't wear crazy fast. Set up the rear w/a flip kit, 2 main leaves, & AOL. Pop in a lowering block & you're now quickly 2"-3" lower.
