Bag/Tank Pressure
What pressure would be significant to keep the front of my truck afloat? I haven't installed a gauge on my tank yet and am reluctant to start compressing air at alarming rate.

Most consumer grade tanks are ASME rated for 125-150 psi. You're not going to want anywhere near that much pressure in your bags under normal conditions (ie, bed not loaded with umpteen jillion bags of concrete).

I never gave it much thought, but my compressor kicks in at 130 psi and shuts off at 160 psi, so my tank is generally at 160 psi when I'm driving around. I was under the impression tanks from places like Air Ride were good for over 200 psi? I run my front bags at 70 and the rears at 30, but it varies depending on the bag, vehicle, etc.

Sorry... 72' Cheyenne, SBC. The rear bags seem to hold up just fine, but the bed is off and the front of the truck is obviously much heavier anyway.

Tanks are generally rated lower then what they can handle. You will be fine with running 160psi. In fact I bet most people run more like 200psi in there systems with no problems.
