late model seats?
I came across a ad for a blazer with what looks like late model chevy truck seats but the guy doesn`t know what they are from. Does anyone know of some good late model buckets with arm rests that will bolt in with minor mods and still retain the factory consol? here is a pic of the seats I found.

Re: late model seats?
Thanks. Thats what I was thinking but I wasn`t sure if it was late 90`s or maybe a little newer. Do you know if they will bolt right in?

Re: late model seats?
I cannot say if they will bolt right in or not but.....I've seen so many people use them seats it's got to be an easy swap.

Re: late model seats?
You do have to make some new holes but it is easy. And they look like 95-99 seats.
Here is mine, I put 01-05 seats in.

Re: late model seats?
is there a big difference from the 95-99 seats and the 01-05 seats? Does the later console fit pretty easy? I`m not real partial to the original one so I don`t mind swapping it out. Does either year seats sit higher or lower? I`m happy with the height but could use something a little wider like the later seats.

Re: late model seats?
As Travis said, the first set of seats are indeed 95-99 GM seats. If you are putting them in a Blazer look for a set of 95 Extra cab seats. This was the year before the 3rd door, and the passenger side was flip-n-fold. One year only though...

Re: late model seats?
THESE ARE FROM A 92 BLAZER/ TAHOE 2DR. PASSENGER SIDE GOES FORWARD & ALMOST FLAT FOR EASY ACCESS TO THE REAR. JUST HAD TO MAKE NEW HOLES AND MADE SMALL BRACES FOR THE BOTTOM, FOR EXTRA SUPPORT.

Re: late model seats?
My '96 ext. cab did not have the third door option and I had a seat that slid forward to allow access to the rear seat. However, the cable that released the seat to slide forward out of the way never lasted for more than a couple years at a time. Easy fix, but annoying. I don't believe the third door was ever a standard feature for the 88-98 trucks, so to find the correct passenger seat, just look for a truck that didn't have the third door option.

Re: late model seats?
I had a 99 CK body ex-cab with a 60/40 style and I remember both flipping forward and it had the 3rd door. I`m keeping a eye out because I remember how comfy my old 99 seats were. My 90 blazer seats are nice but really kinda narrow. Doesn`t really bother me too much but it would be nice to have some wider seats. Plus it gives it a updated look.

Re: late model seats?
Do you have any better pics of the 92 seats? I have a set of 77 low back seats, but the are "fixed". I would like the ability to fold them forward. It looks like those 92 seats are close enough that a 77 cover could be made to fit...
