WIW: 64 bench seat
I've got a very decent 64 bench seat w/has a worn after-market slip cover over what looks to be original fabric. No holes (well no big ones from what you can feel through the fabric), the track adjustment works, & it tilts forward w/o issue.
WIW?? $50? $100?

Re: WIW: 64 bench seat
I was referred to a guy that was looking for a nice one. He came & looked & it was one of those 'what will you take for it' deals.... I through out a $50 offer. I guess I'll wait & see as he said he had another he was going to look at tonight as well.

Re: WIW: 64 bench seat
The only 60-66 bench seats around here are in trucks that people are determined to let rust away in their yards. But that is one heck of a score. I gave up on the bench and just decided to do a custom interior with black leather buckets and a console.

Re: WIW: 64 bench seat
Heres a funny for ya. I had an ad up on CL for a c10 bench seat for a little while and the first offer I got was from a fella who called me one evening. Said he had an original '66 seat and he would be glad to sell it to me for $200 and not a penny less...all it needed was to be completely reupholstered because it had been setting in his back yard for several years. My response....

This guy liked the seat. I made arrangements to meet @ a convenient time/location (bringing the seat w/me) but then he wanted to dicker $10 on the price. I told him "Thanks, but no thanks". If I'm going to give it away for cheap, I would rather give to someone from here (or a buddy) that could use it for free (good karma principle).
