Rear diff u joint???

I just had new u joints pressed in and in looks the the rear u joint has two different sized hubs The one that fits into the differential yoke is smaller than than the drive shaft hubs.

Could this be right or do I have an odd ball drive shaft mixed up with my 12-bolt diff?

I changed mine out last week and they were the same size.

Re: Rear diff u joint???

Something has been changed from stock. You have a conversion joint in there which did not come that way from the factory. Either the driveshaft or the rear end has been swapped out, probably for later model stuff.
