4 1/2- 6 in drop by McGaughy's... any complaints?
I have a 1977 GMC Sierra Classic and I'm about to lower it but i've decided i want to go spindle/flip-kit. I'm really new to this site and to the square body world and like most of us I don't have alot of money to make expensive mistakes. I really would appreciate any warnings or confirmation about my choice. Thank you.

looks like a nice kit.but some people on here do a flip kit and dont even have to c-notch the frame.

McGaughys is a well known quality brand, and I don't think anyone will have anything bad to say about their kit.
I think there might be some more economical choices, but doubt that any are better.

While it is true that you don't "have to" have a C-notch, I would recommend one. While your back there doing the flip, you may as well notch it too. It's like having insurance. You might never need it, but it's comforting to know it's there, and feels so much better if you have to use it.
