Trailering Special?

My 76 blazer has an emblem on the tailgate that says "Trailering Special GVW 8,000 lbs". What did this package include?

No, 4 wheel. I checked out the link but, it does not explain the 3.08 gears that I have

Its all still original, you are probably right, the gear option was "overlooked" when ordered. Unless they thought they would get better mileage?
