overhead console mounting?
anybody have any pictures of how the metal bracket is mounted to the roof?
idk if the one i have if the ends were bent striahgt when it was removed but its kinda confusing on to how it mounts. |

I'm putting one up in my Suburban right now plus modifying it to hold my Double Din touch screen Kenwood Stereo Model DDX812
The mount is a brand new unit I got from work (GM Dealership) Like this...........

so the head liner goes over the metal bracket? the roof in my crew cab is different then the one in that auburban there are no rails. hopefully i can still get it to fit

If it's double walled you should be able to mark and drill the 6 holes into the inner skin of the roof. Otherwise you're gonna have to do some mods.

Just watch your screws don't go too far and come out the outer roof skin.
