454 motor mounts
will 73-87 motor mounts work on a 65 gmc that im trying to put a 454 into

Yes...but you will most likely have to notch the frame rails back roughly 1/2'' or so to accomodate the correct angle. Very similar to the 67-72 frame with the factory relief for motor mounts. May have to drill a hole for the bottom of the mount on the x-member.

Yes they will work. I would trim the top frame flange back a 1/2 inch or so starting in front of the motor mount brackets, going rearward and tapering off to nothing back past the bellhousing a little. I usually use a '73-'87 frame for reference. This will give you the extra needed room for either exhaust manifolds or headers. Also if you plan on running taller than stock valve covers, you will need to move the engine forward a couple of inches from the stock location. Otherwise you will need to modify the firewall to accomodate them.

I've never used them, but I think you still have to trim the top flange of the frame to use them.
