79 Gmc, High Sierra 15
these are some old pics from 04 when i had the truck in one piece and on the road. just got the seat, headliner and carpet in, then shortly after gettin the Pro-comp gauges working. will try to get some updated ones on here soon. truck stayed like that until sometime in 05 when i changed the wheels, grill, and put the cowl hood on, now its just a complete cab, partial bed,(still putting it together) and no front end due to the motor swap and rewiring. in the one picture was 2 more of our show worthy fleet- dads 79,moms 70 newport conv. (1 of 1124 made in 70.less than a hundred with some of the options it had. sold in 07 currently in SO.CAL) and yes, the 4dr Olds at the end was and still is my other toy besides the 79. then had original everything except the chrome reverse wheels and only 70k miles. now over 115k miles on the body with a 455 BBO 700r trans and 355s out back. amazing how many imports and Fords try but never succeed lol.

Re: 79 Gmc, High Sierra 15
update- 8-30-09, the motor and trans is finally in. after a little grinding and some hammering, the headers and mounts are in. after i took it all back apart i discovered that one of the motor mounts was boxed wrong. that was why i couldnt get it lined up to begin with! ill try to get some better pictures up when the sun isnt so bright on me. but heres one for now.
