Looking for a nice driver. Must be short wheelbase. Prefer 87 Silverado for the fuel injection and power accessories but will entertain all. I have searched the local Craigslist and EBAY with a few nice ones that sold before I could get there. Just thought I would ask a fellow board member too. Will entertain a roller only (no engine/trans) if the body is VERY VERY nice. Looking to spend less than $6000. Whatcha got. Pics too please, the more detailed the better. Dont mind driving for the right truck at the right price. Thanks guys.

Re: Wtb: 81-87 swb c10
too bad you arent closer . I looked at a Blue 87 short bed yesterday . Has rust in the cab corners but the rest is pretty nice . I am going to try to look at it closer in the next couple days . Would be a fixer upper but at $1800 asking , it is priced OK .

Re: Wtb: 81-87 swb c10
Sounds pretty good. I want one with no rust that I can just drive. With so much time spent fixing other peoples cars at work, I am just ready to get in a truck, close the door, and burn the road up without having to do alot of repairs myself.

Re: Wtb: 81-87 swb c10
OK guys. Just sold my 72 Super project and alot of shop equipment. So.....
I am going to be picking up a sweet Black Silverado from another board member. Should be going to pick it up and deliver the rest of the cash in a couple weeks when work permits. I dont want to let the cat out of the bag just yet and hopefully he wont either until everything is finalized. Lets just say it's a past TOTM winner. I'll keep you posted.
