HVAC system

Took my ac control unit and blower motor from my old truck and put it into the new one. The HVAC controls worked great on the old truck. since installing them into the new, I get nothing. Thought the resistor and relay needed to be replaced. So i replaced them. Still nothing. I tested the blower motor by just hotwiring to the battery and it works great. The brown wire is connected to the fuse panel. Seems as though i dont get vacuum to the control unit either. All vacuum lines hooked up. The black vacuum line coming from the interior is hooked straight to manifold vacuum. I checked all fuses and all fuses are still good. Is there a fuse for the AC/Heater? Maybe PO removed it for some reason? I did notice the relay connector where the hot red wire comes in at looks like it was melted slightly. any thoughts????? Im so close to being done with this project i can taste it. Cant drive this beast in the winter without Heat. forgot to mention. I unhooked all AC under the hood. Not sure if that matters or not.
