usable parts, what should I save
Hi, I'm looking at buying an 84 chev truck for the rally wheels that are on it. My plan is to strip any useful parts and then take it to a salvage yard (live in an apartment and have no room).
I'm pretty much a rookie at this, thus the question. I'm planning on taking wheels, A/C stuff, Alternator, and a few other minor things. - it is a 4X4 does anyone know if the front springs would work on a 72 blazer (I'd like to remove my lift) I believe engine, tranny and rearend are pretty much shot. Has anyone used the power windows and locks from an 80's chev? If anyone can think of any other goodies I should keep, please let me know. Thanks |

Re: usable parts, what should I save
The front springs won't work ,they are longer on the '73 up models. The rear springs will interchange though. The power door locks MIGHT be able to work, but I'm not sure. Hope that helps some.
