under the hood wiring pics
how about some detailed wiring pics from under the hood. water temp, oil press, alt, ect where did you run them? thanks

I like to run the wiring from the firewall on the drivers side under the fender and then to the engine near the alternator in a nice, neat bundle and then branch them out from there.
Keeps it organized and very easy to disconnect if an engine swap is in store.

Here's my Chevelle for example. Note the wiring near the power steering/hydroboost hoses. If I need to pull the motor I can disconnect the senders and drape the harness over the fender and then reinstall in about 5 minutes.
It runs under the alt, over the water pump and the intake to all sensors: Oil pressure, water temp, fan temp probe, choke, HEI, alternator, tach, etc.
