You mean a '91 style dash pad fits a '77 Cab? I thought they changed it between the 73-80 and 81+ bodies?

Re: dash pad question

thanks for the replies

found one at the bone yard in a 88 blazer > just wanted tio make sure .

I think one of these posts is correct in saying that a 81-87 is a little different than a 73-80. In Brothers -LMC. ETC, PADS ARE LISTED SEPARATELY for 73-80vs 81-87 /?? .Am I correct? Also I was informed that ac pads & non ac pads were the same Is that correct ?

Correct and correct. The A/C vents install in the dash trim on the right side.

the two styles of pads will interchange; the earlier bezel will fit with the later pad just fine, but the later bezel sticks out with the earlier pad.

Re: dash pad question

The 73-80's dash pad is more curved than the later ones. Here is a link to the LMC page. It's hard to see the difference because of the black pad on the 73-80's. lmctruck.com. The dash pads will interchange, not perfectly, but pretty close. The main difference in seperation is for the correctness for the period. Some people like one over the other, and could put either one in their truck.
