got the cab on today..

and i decided to cut the rockers off.

None yet, but there is not much to see. I have only made the initial cuts and boy was it a PITA. If I had a plasma it would have probably been much simpler. The goal now is to just cap everything underneath.

As the cab sits now, its about a 1/4 to 1/2" off of the body mounts. After grinding everything straight and welding the new sheet metal, it should sit on the mounts.

The other issue I see is the lower mounting bolt on the rear of the front fenders. The part of the cab that the bolt went through is no longer there, so some other mount will have to be made for that part of the fender.
