Tubular suspension
Classic Performance Products has a tubular trailing arm kit for $1500. Is it worth buying or would I be better off getting a trailing arm reinforcement kit. And for the frontend would a custom ifs kit be worth buying or just get the tubular control arms and install coil-overs. This truck is not gonna be seen on a dragstrip, just cruising around. I just want it to be able to take a curve better(faster) and it stick and hold on to it

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. For Cruisin and showin that might be money better spent in other areas.
You mention tubular arms and coil overs, so I will "assume" your primary concern is handling more like a car and less like a truck. If that is your objective then you should start with the basics. Have you lowered your truck any? That will lower your center of gravity and improve looks at the same time. Replacing your worn front suspension components and add a set of quality shocks will work wonders as well. You will want to consider low profile tires too. Give us an idea of your goals and maybe we can offer some more specific advice.

What is the lowest I can go without c-notching the frame. It will have 20" wheels and probably nitto nt05 tires, don`t know what size though. Whats the widest wheel and tire that I can use without problems I`ve been researching and I don`t think I need coil-overs. I think just a good quality suspention kit with sway bars will get the results I want. I am going fully re-do the suspention. I`m going to take your advice and go with the stock control arms and trailing arms. And hey they`re bolt on parts so if I`m not happy with them I can change them later. What would be the best suspention kit to get(ride quality, materials,ect)

lewisaric.... I would highly recommend the ECE (Early Classic Enterpriese www.earlyclassic.com) lowering kits. Everything is included with the kit, and with excellent customer service and parts, it is money well spent.
I lowered my truck 4.5/6" with their kit, and even upgraded to 6-lug disc brakes up front. Check out my build thread in my signature for pictures and information on the install. The lowest you will be able to go without a c-notch (and not heavy hauling) will be 4.5/6" anything lower in the rear and you will need to have a c-notch.

Not hard to make at all, just time consuming and enough hard parts needed to make the pricey.

Id probably start by getting a stock one and going off that. I may look into it tomorrow at thw wrecking yard. I go every week to do research on arms and other items. Ill take some pics and see what develops. anyone interested?
