Single Wall Top Interior Lights....need info
when i put my rockers in i cut the plug that goes to the top to power the lights...awful mistake! where did this plug wire come from under the dash and is there any way to get another female end for the set up? any pics and info would really come in handy!

i just bought a 72 last fri & took top off sat , the plug you are talking about is still intact i will trace it to the firewall & let you know later today & try to send a pic

it is a white & orange wire that is held by a clip @ the dimmer switch & from there goes a about 4'' directly below fuse box where it has a black connector that hooks into a connector that comes straight down out of the fuse box

I'm reviving this thread...
So it sounds like the wire runs inside the rocker panel, or under the kick plate? Does it run up the inside of the B pillar or what? My 72 has both sets of holes along the beside so I'm not sure what top it came with (SPID says black hard top, but when I bought the blazer it had a white double wall). I ran a couple searches but didn't find anything with with much detail. Any body have any pics of where the wire was run or possibly direct me to a previous post.
