my trucks life
when i first got it
seat out of a 93 1500 in the process of lowering it and got the body straightened out and how it sets now with 3" drop spindles and flip kit/c-notch, getting 2"drop springs for the front this weekend , paint will be soon going with hot rod flatz black or red, new moldings and emblems with new trim and i think im gonna paint the wheels back to silver, also just ordered long tubes with dual 40 flow masters and a edelbrock performer intake and carb with new hei distributor |

right now 3/6 drop i got 2" drop coils from summit and im putting them on this weekend so then it'll then be a 5/6 drop

The truck looks good. If you just have to do the flat paint, can I ask you not to do flat black? I think your truck will just become another one to look right past, in flat black. It is too over done. I think the flat red would look pretty cool with a set of gloss black wheels. Kinda opposite of what you have now. That could be cool.
Don't get me wrong here but I can't even start to count how many times I have been asked to paint something flat black. I used to paint full time and do some side work still. I know, I know, "but it's easier for me to paint it flat." Which is not always true. If you run it, there is no "cut & buff". Keep in mind that flat finishes are WAY harder to keep clean, you can't polish it, you can't wax it, etc. It just can't be maintained like normal gloss paint. Sorry I am off my soapbox now.

Flat red or even blue would be cool. I think a lot of people are just so sick and tired of flat black.

update: well i canceled my order on the lowering springs and just heated my springs and it came down a good 2 1/2 - 3" will get pics soon right now its at my buddys were putting a new timing chain on it and cleaning the motor up and whatnot also got 6.5" wide van rallys for the front

oo you cant listen to people how do you think they lowered cars and trucks back in the day before they made lowering components? add a little heat and gives ya a nice stance, also my truck rides great and drives straight.......**** the haters
