Re: R/c trucks

I'd like to take one of those bodies and put it on a nitro car chassis.

Re: R/c trucks

Yea, the yelow shortbox is mine, built it ears ago...still sits unfinished. I also built this Clodbuster somewhat recently, still have to finish it, but these are some of the things I do during the winter months.

Here is a link on my site to some more RC stuff. I need to update it with those Proline bodies...they have been on the market for quite a while.

The white one has been widened (cool!), and the other one is a Kill Bill replica (cool too!)

Re: R/c trucks

I guess it's kinda like R/C...I recently decided to get back into slot car drag racing seeing as how my kids are getting to the age where they would enjoy it. We have a track less than 5 minutes from our house that holds weekly races.

Along with building the kids a few cars to get thier feet wet with, I decided to build one for myself.

It's still in the rough mock up/builing stage, but you get the idea:

Still gotta finish up a few things on the chassis:

The back end needs to come down some. Once I figure out what gear ratio/tire size I'm going to run on this truck, I'll tub the back end so the body sits nicely. I also need to move the front "axle" forward about an 1/8". Once I get everything dialed in, It'll go in for final paint and detailing.

Should be a lot of fun. It already gets a lot of looks at the track and it's yet to make it's first pass.

I've been toying with the idea of doing a lifted K10, but I've got to put some more thought into it.

...and I should probably finish this one first.

Incedentally, if anyone knows where I can get a early 80's Malibu in 1:24, I'd be greatly appreciative.
