afr 345 big block heads
I can buy a set of 345 afr's for $1200 and wondering if these would be to big for my 431? My iron heads are 320 with alot of port work etc.etc. I need to let him know before tomorrow or he's going to post them up for sale...He says that they only have 40 passes on them and i can hear them run on his car before he pulls them...

I'd go for it. It will save you a bunch of weight. You might want to pm big Jim I think he runs afrs.

Friend of mine runs cnc afr 335's on his 9:1 427....thing makes a TON of torque. Get 'em!!!!

Id get them just for the savings, They are a little to big but if you get a bigger stall and maby take another look at your cam you would be good. It is just going to take you longer in the RPM's to make all the power.

Get 'em. That's a good deal. They're a bit big for your combo, but you'll have an awesome top end if you build it right - or you could always add a blower...

when I was on pass time I had a 390cfm head on a 468. If you run a little spray they would love it.
