lower control arm shaft upgrades
Guys, I have my suspension apart swapping spindles. I am going to purchase some tubular upper a-arms to get some more caster. I cant afford the lower ones and am not sure I can or will gain much with them?
My question is there an upgrade for the control shaft on the lower? I have found some polyurethane parts but they are marked for 1973 up I assume these are different but not sure what all is? When I grab the lower a-arm (still mounted) I can feel some movement front to rear at these connections not much but some. I rebuilt these before but think I may need to get new shafts. Any thoughts on this, is there something better I can do on a budget? Thanks Dave

Re: lower control arm shaft upgrades
As expected the newer ones are press in and mine are the screw out type. I guess I will pick my best arms and get new control shafts. I think mine are somewhat worn, not much but some.
Thanks Dave
