who fires it up every single morning

Im just curious to know who fires their truck up every morning to head off to whatever it is they do. Whos truck is an actual everyday driver and not a show car or a weekend warrior.

Re: who fires it up every single morning

I do. The '73 is my daily driver. That's what I built it for. I have a 2004 Silverado that stays parked 90% of the time.

This pic (in fact, most of the pics I post) was taken in the parking lot at work...

Re: who fires it up every single morning

Drive to job 1 at 4am, job 2 at 6:30am, then job 3 at 4:00pm, then home at 9:00pm. If the fire dept page's me out we are off again. Out of all the trucks I have owned brand ne and used this is my fav. My goal is to have this till I die.

Re: who fires it up every single morning

wish this was in the general section...but I'll chime in...my 70 has been turn key since 3 days after I pulled it out of the woods...and has been my DD since before the real plates where on it...I even drove it about a week on a milk crate??....I'm not sure if I'm going to run it this winter or not..probably not since 2wd is useless around here once the snow flies and I'd like to clean up some stuff I halfass'd trying to get it on the road and put in some of the stuff I have been picking up over the summer..

tic toc I think I have about a week left..mileage unknown but I have run it 8000 miles in three months

on a side note I was in Naples Maine and saw a 2 tone 4x4 abut a 70 talked to the original owner he said he was working on his 3rd motor...400,000 miles
