Hello everyone
My name is Raymond. Just found this site not to long ago and glad I did! I have a couple of toys of my own that I've been tinkering with one being a 76 chevy luv truck with a BBC that I built to have fun at the dragstrip. And my other is a 85 gmc sierra swb that I've owned for about 4 years. I bought the truck all original with 85,000 original miles. Then like a dummy (I've seriously been kickin myself in the butt for doing it) I went and ripped out the 305 and put a 383 stroker that I had in my luv before the big block. Well to make a long story short I ended up with a 90 model chevy p/u with a 350 tbi practically given to me, was going to install in my 85 but once I tore down the engine to go through it found that the block and crank are not repairable (time to hunt for a shortblock). Anyway's I've been lurking and have found alot of very interesting info. Great site! I'll post pics of my truck when I figure out how. LOL! Thank you
