Re: 91 Burb clip-Houston C/L
He has it priced what it would be worth- part for part. Maybe he doesn't realize people go on craigslist so they don't have to pay top dollar.
a just did a front end swap, and based on the lmc catalog. Fenders- $100ea Hood- $160 OE grill -$230 Lights bezel-$30 Lights-$75 Radiator support-$130 inner wheelwell fenders $100ea wiring harness included also... $550 isn't bad considering it's all oem parts. Still have to consider paint cost... Front bumper is another $200 |

That price would be real good here in the salt belt,I gave 300 for my burb clip and thought I stole it.Bought from a neighbor that needed the bucks.

Re: 91 Burb clip-Houston C/L
It's a little high, but most people on Craigslist will deal. I live in the same area and just bought a running, driving 89 suburban off Houston Craigslist for $700. However, a lot of people probably don't have anywhere to keep an entire vehicle, and would rather just buy the front clip.
I don't think people are buying much right now. The Suburban I bought had been listed over and over again for about a month. I couldn't believe no one bought it before me. It's a beat up piece of junk, but the motor and transmission run/shift great and it has the desireable grill. I plan to use the motor and grill for an 87' Silverado I bought off Craigslist that has a bad motor. I have become addicted to Craigslist!!! I rebuilt a 76 Silverado about five years ago before I discovered Craiglsit and spent a fortune. Now when I need parts I just look for an entire vehicle. |

That front clip has been on CL for along time at that price. I don't give more than $250 for a suburban without a motor or trans and it has to be in good shape. I have bought 2, 1990 & 1991 suburbans at this price. Of course from Craigslist ! ! ! !
