Rockwell t221
I've been driving myself crazy trying to find parts for this thing. I bought a
63 K20 last week. I figured it would be a 205 case, but it has a t221 in it. The thing is it is missing the input bearing cover on the rear of the case. I have tore the internet apart trying to find one with no luck. Does anyone on here know where I might find one? |

http://www.persh.org/pickup/IdeaPage.htm If you go to the 2 bottom l/side links there is a bit of t221 info the reason that part of those covers disappear is that there is a brg problem. bearings wear and in the t221 allowa more end play in the shaft and it moves back alittle and makes contact with that cover ands wears a hole in it. I doubt that you will find a new one , though there is a part nbr in those links above. you are going to have to find a used one. perhaps some may see your situation and offer up one You do get caught in a catch 22 on these boards as they don't really allow you to ask kdo you have this parts. unless you are a paying supporter there is no sense of putting another cover on unless you rebearing that t/c. you could get a machine shop to make you one new brgs are usually all it takes for those old t/cs ron |

Re: Rockwell t221
Thanks, I may have just found one at a local 4x4 shop. The guy thinks he has one burried in the junk. I'll let you guys know if he can't find it.
