Thumbs up 2009 Truck of the Year

For those of you who know, instead of a Truck of the Month for January, we wrap up the winners from the year and have a Truck of the Year contest. New to this years contest, we have also included our beater month (April) TOTM winner. The winner will be announced on the afternoon of Januray 1st.
So check out LINKY and cast your vote for the boards 2009 Truck of the Year!!

Re: 2009 Truck of the Year

If i could offer a suggestion for next yr's or next month's contest:

If we could get a description of maybe the mechanicals of the truck; It doesn't nessesarily have to be a book, but maybe a general overview of the drivetrain---eng, trans rear. And then maybe any other unusual feature(s)/interesting, useful upgrades etc.

For instance, i voted for #4 because i favor stock trucks over modified. But i have no idea what's under the hood, so it may not be stock.

What i'm trying to say is, i don't think we should go strictly by looks. But that's just me.

You, know the saying can't judge a book by the cover. i mean, i know as a society we do tend to judge a book by the cover but.................

Re: 2009 Truck of the Year

I love square bodies, but I also have a thing for the oddballs so I voted for Dinos 62 crewcab.

I also like the idea of the calendar of all the winners.

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.
