Spindle Questions

Ok Picked up some drop spindles i was told they were for 73-87, but turns out after purchase that they are for 88 and newer. Question is other then the tie rods will they fit, oreillys comp says brake calipers are the same, but im just not sure if the ball joint diameter (where the ball joint meets the spindle) is the same.?

Re: Spindle Questions

well i solved my own questions, the upper ball joint on the 88 is bigger in diameter, and the tie rod for the 88 is tiny in comparison to the 87 so im just gonna sell these spindles and buy the correct ones instead of replacing 200 dollars worth of parts to get them to fit.
