Heater Control Levers help...

Just ordered a set of heater control levers to replace the broken levers in my '66 C10. I removed the screws that hold the heater facia to the dash, thinking that it would slide forward through the dash, but it didn't move forward or back. What else is holding the unit in place, and does it pull out through the dash or from behind? Thanks.

Gary

Re: Heater Control Levers help...

There is a brace that goes from the heater control down to the lower edge of the dash....just one bolt. Then it goes to the inside of the dash.
