72 4x4 e-brake cables?
Im having alot of trouble getting e-brake cables for my 72 K10. Parts store keeps sending me 2wd cables that are about 6" too short. Also, took a look in the LMC catolage and noticed that they dont list any 4wd cables. where can I get some, who makes them. Any info is awsome.

Re: 72 4x4 e-brake cables?
LMC has them, tagged as "Blazer 4wd"
Its a bit misleading, but to the best of my knowledge, those are the correct cables for a 4wd leaf spring 1/2 ton and they are longer than the 2wd cables.

Re: 72 4x4 e-brake cables?
I went down the parts store road with my 4x4, it is a dead end. I sent several hours with area managers from NAPA and others including Car Quest and Auto Value and they are all the same or within 1/4 of an inch. In order to get the correct setup you will have to go through inline tube or classic tube. I purchased my entire set from inline- main cable, intermediate and e-brake cables for around $150 and installed in just a few minutes. The extra cost is worth the lack of hassle. Do a search for their web site and enter your info. Easy as can be, and they ship quickly as well. Hope this helps, Harold

Re: 72 4x4 e-brake cables?
AHA! Just called my parts guy, had him search up the 4wd blazer cables and I’m 99% sure that they will work. He said they measure about 48” compared to the other cables that kept coming in (I think they were 2wd) that were 40” long. Anyway, that’s for the info guys it helped me a lot and I hope it helps some other people that are having the same problem.
