How Low can u go with a truck LS1 oil pan
Im planning to get an static drop fro my 71 2WD Blazer from ece maybe a 5.5 and 6" (front 2.5 spindles with 3"coils, Rear 6" coils with C-Notch)
but I want to keep my GenIII truck oil pan on it, anyone with pics. on a static drop and LS1 coonvertion? any better idea or solution? thanks ! Last edited by gus; 02-12-2010 at 09:58 PM. Reason: n/a |

You should be fine with what you have planed. Just be careful going over bumps. The truck pan hangs about an inch below the crossmember. Mine is bagged with stock spindles and it isnt hitting the ground yet.

LQ9, bagged with 2.5" drop spindles. No probs so far, just be aware of road conditions when you're riding low.
